Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is ideally located within walking distance from Boulevard Bahia, the shopping district, eateries, and the water taxi terminal to Belize. The rooms are comfortable and cozy, always clean, with an internal courtyard view. The staff was willing to hold the room for me until late at night, although they seemed irritated when I raised a complaint about the paid room. The location is perfect for exploring the ruins and Bacalar, but noise pollution from nearby construction could be disturbing. The dining experience, across the house, is a bit pricey but offers delicious Italian pasta. The facilities are well-maintained, with a pool, but could be improved by adding matting in certain areas for safety.
The hotel is located in a convenient spot near the port for onward transit, providing a quiet stay with no noise pollution. The rooms were spacious and modern, though there was a slight delay in availability upon arrival. The service was outstanding, with the staff going out of their way to accommodate late check-ins. The dining options were limited, but the facilities made up for it, offering a pool in the middle of the hotel complex.
Upon arrival, the rooms were not available until an hour late, and though they were very hot and rather dated, the A/C worked well. The lack of furniture was noticeable, but the cleanliness could have been better compared to other stops on our Central America trip. The hotel's location was excellent, close to the boulevard Bahia, the shopping area, eateries, and the water taxi terminal to Belize. The dining was a bit pricey, and the service had a mix of kindness and rudeness. However, the hotel's pool in the middle of the complex was a plus point.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were clean and comfortable, featuring a balcony and efficient air-conditioning, despite some linen being unchanged from the previous guest. The service was accommodating and friendly, with one staff member even offering to hold the room for me until late at night. The location was excellent, within walking distance of the boulevard Bahia, the shopping district, eateries, and the water taxi terminal. However, the presence of another seemingly superior hotel with a similar name nearby slightly diminished the appeal. The dining experience across the street was a bit pricey, but the glazed cakes were a treat.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel! The rooms were very clean, although they weren't available right away upon my arrival, but just a small delay. I would definitely choose to stay there again for my next getaway.
